Age Verification Policy
AP Liquor sells alcoholic beverages only to customers who are legally permitted to purchase and receive alcohol. This policy explains our 21+ checks for website access, checkout, pickup, delivery, and in-store purchases.
Website age gate
Visitors must confirm they are 21 or older before browsing the site. This confirmation is stored in the browser for convenience and may be required again at checkout.
Account and checkout checks
Registered customers may be required to provide name, verified email, phone number, and date of birth before checkout. The checkout system verifies date of birth server-side and blocks orders when the date is missing, invalid, in the future, or indicates the customer is under 21.
Pickup ID requirements
The pickup person must present valid government-issued photo ID at the store. If the customer designates another pickup person during checkout, that person must also be 21 or older and able to verify identity and order details.
Delivery or shipping ID requirements
Alcohol delivery or shipping handoff requires an adult recipient who is present and can furnish proof of age and identity showing they are 21 or older. We do not allow unattended alcohol delivery, no-contact alcohol handoff, or delivery to a minor.
Acceptable ID
Acceptable ID must be government-issued, include a photo, show date of birth, be valid and unexpired, and reasonably match the person presenting it. We may refuse ID that appears expired, altered, unreadable, damaged, inconsistent, or otherwise suspicious.
Refusal of service
We may refuse sale, pickup, delivery, or handoff when required by law or store policy, including when a person is under 21, appears intoxicated, cannot provide acceptable ID, attempts to buy for a minor, or provides inaccurate or suspicious information.
